BICSI (Building Industry Consulting Service International) is a comprehensive non-profit trade association; whose programs and interests cover the broad telecommunications spectrum of the voice, video and data industries.
BISCI was founded in 1974 to serve and support Voice & Data industry consultants responsible for the design and distribution of telecommunications cabling in commercial and campus buildings. BICSI is a non-profit making association assisting telecommunications professionals with their careers by providing training, certification, conferences and publications in the design and installation of voice, date and video technologies.
The membership base of 25,000 covers over 100 countries around the globe. BICSI now provide training and education worldwide continually developing and promoting good practice with our industry.
The primary goal of BICSI is to lead the telecommunications industry in the enhancement of quality services and methods. The RCDD is a professional designation offered to qualified BICSI members.
